What to Expect During Your Pregnancy Program
First Visit: If you are a new patient this will be your initial appointment, if you are an existing patient this will be a follow up. We will discuss your pregnancy goals, prenatal supplements, additional lab work, and trimester 1 symptom management.
Second Visit: We will review your lab work in detail and correct any nutrient deficiencies. It is ideal to achieve this before 20 weeks for best outcomes for mom and baby. Together we'll review prenatal nutrition and exercise, answering any questions that are coming up.
Third Visit: Usually in trimester 2, we will check on any new symptoms and ways to manage them naturally. We will discuss the glucose test, prenatal/ push courses, and adjust your supplement plan.
Fourth Visit: After glucose test, usually around the beginning of trimester 3. Adjusted nutrition and lifestyle recommendations depending on your glucose test results. We'll start discussing labour preferences. This visit explores what to expect and addresses any fears, assumptions, myths, and mindset shifts around birth.
Fifth Visit: Around 32-34 weeks. As you move towards the end of trimester 3 we are going to dive into the natural things you can do to prepare your body for the labour you desire. We will also discuss postpartum preparations so you are set up for success.
