What to Expect During Your Treatment
Your skin care journey begins with a comprehensive 75-minute appointment, which includes both your consultation and your first facial acupuncture treatment. During this visit, we take time to understand your skin concerns, overall health, and lifestyle factors that may influence skin appearance and aging. This thorough assessment allows us to create a personalized treatment plan focused on your skin goals and overall well-being. Once your plan is in place, you will return to Willow for your follow-up treatments. Each session typically lasts 45 minutes, targeting collagen stimulation, circulation support, and skin rejuvenation.
An initial series of 8–10 weekly treatments is generally recommended to support optimal improvements in skin tone, texture, and hydration. After you've received all treatments, Dr. Brianna Wolfs, ND will assess your progress and adjust care as needed.
How to Prepare for Your Acupuncture Treatment

Arrive makeup-free for your treatment if possible. If you're coming from work or another activity, makeup wipes are provided at the clinic for your convenience.

Stay well-hydrated and eat a light meal before your session to ensure you feel comfortable throughout your treatment.

Avoid alcohol and excess caffeine on the day of your appointment to support your body’s natural healing process.

Payment and Insurance: We offer direct billing for the naturopathic portion of your Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture treatment. Please note that HST is applied to cosmetic services and is not covered under naturopathic insurance. The HST amount will be charged separately at the time of payment.
Aftercare Recommendations
Following your Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture treatment, we recommend the following to support optimal recovery and results:

Avoid touching your face unnecessarily immediately after treatment.

Skip harsh exfoliants or active products such as retinoids, peels, or acids for at least 24-48 hours post-treatment

Avoid makeup application for the remainder of the day if possible, allowing your skin to settle and recover

Postpone other facial treatments such as laser resurfacing, chemical peels, or microdermabrasion for at least one week after treatment.
